   Thanks for the memories!
The 24th November is a day to commemorate and pay enormous tribute to the one and only Freddie Mercury. On the anniversary of his death, White Queen will be celebrating at the Palazzo Pavoncelli di Cerignola (FG).

Summer may be over but a night with White Queen in August at the Naxos bar and pizzeria in San Michele will be forever etched in my memory book of the good times.

The show opened and the band’s performance of “I Want to Break Free” exploded onto the stage with such convincing ecliptic force that you could have been forgiven for believing that Freddie was indeed back. The theatrical cabaret and transformation of the five boys into Queen was indeed a tribute to the loss of Freddie and a magical moment to capture for all fans far and wide.

The small but effectively captivated audience were deeply enraptured if not entranced. The professional and realistic impressionism as presented by White Queen was far better than we could have ever imagined.

We, a group of six friends, occupied a not so quiet corner to the rear of the outside concert area, adjacent to a group of White Queen followers and supporters. As the show opened, we competed with our neighbours, our own personal highly vocal renditions followed by whoops and cheers in acknowledgement of the lead singer as he weaved in and out of the crowds, with that recognisable and timeless vibrancy of Mercury.

Thank you for the memories!
